How to Sell Vacant Land to Land and Parcels
Understand each stage—from requesting a property review to considering written terms and completing a closing if you choose to proceed.
Share the property details
Provide the state, county, parcel number or tax ID, approximate acreage, and the best way to reach you. Include access, utilities, taxes, title, or restriction information if known.
Property review
Land and Parcels may review public records, access, terrain, utilities, restrictions, taxes, comparable sales, and current demand. Additional questions or documents may be needed.
Consider the written offer
If the property fits current criteria, Land and Parcels may provide an offer describing price, due-diligence conditions, expected timing, and closing-cost terms. You may accept, decline, or ask questions.
Agreement and due diligence
After acceptance, the parties sign an agreement. Land and Parcels confirms title, taxes, access, and other property information. Any conditions and deadlines are governed by the agreement.
Title and closing
A title, escrow, attorney, or closing provider may prepare the documents and confirm the funds and ownership transfer. The closing date depends on the property, title, due diligence, and written agreement.
A request is not an agreement to sell.
Submitting property information does not guarantee an offer. Receiving an offer does not require you to accept it. Review every written term and ask questions before signing.
